Using nanotechnology, Padena Polymer has developed an oxygen barrier masterbatch to address the challenge of removing oxygen in the packaging industry to enhance the quality and shelf life of perishable products. This product serves as a cost-effective and effective alternative to ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH) in the packaging of cosmetic, dairy, beverage, and food products. The presence of this product in packaging minimizes oxygen permeation and/or removes trapped oxygen inside the packaging during production, leading to increased shelf life and quality of perishable materials.
• Use of nanotechnology
• Significant increase in the shelf life of perishable materials by reducing or eliminating oxygen permeation
• Antibacterial property
• Economical and highly effective
• Suitable for various polymer bases (PE, PP, PET, PS, etc.)
• Low weight percentage usage: 1% to 4% in the final product
• No impact on the mechanical properties, odor, and appearance of the final product
• Packaging and containers for dairy products
• Packaging and containers in food industry
• Storage containers for cosmetics, hygiene, and pharmaceutical products
