The flexibility of polymer alloys has an inverse relationship with their hardness. Therefore, to enhance impact resistance and flexibility in polypropylene, it is compounded with ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM), Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) or Styrene-Ethylene/Butylene-Styrene (SEBS) block co-polymers. These compounds are widely used in the production of parts that require both flexibility and impact resistance.
We at Padena Polymer have the capability to customize this compound to meet your specific needs.
